The Concept Design uses the space plan and applies what we might call a ‘look and feel’; this involves us thinking about your space conceptually in 3 Dimensions and applying a style or series of concepts to create a cohesive design. It is the part of the design that gives you the WOW factor and will be what everyone remembers when they have visited your office. Once the concept is complete it can be developed into the Detailed Design.
The Detailed Design includes furniture selection, lighting, finishes and joinery details and will also require collaboration with mechanical, electrical and technology specialists to ensure that the services support the design.
The Detailed Design is issued to Building Control (BC) and may also need Planning Consent or Listed Building Consent. The drawing pack will need to be approved by BC in order to comply with local authority regulations as well as HSE.
