Cincinnati Global engaged us to support them with the creation of their new city office at 51 Lime Street, London. Cincinnati were able to provide a detailed and comprehensive brief from a recent workplace analysis process, this was used create an initial space plan and look and feel brief for a D&B tender. The office was designed for an agile workforce with flexibly allocated open plan desking and meeting rooms, breakout spaces and informal meeting areas to support requirements. Our initial design was developed during and after the D&B tender process and the successful bidder – Modus, provided well-designed and beautifully detailed construction.
The chosen design included removing significant areas of suspended ceilings, updating the lighting, relocating mechanical services as well as supplying veneered and acoustic wall cladding, curved glass and sheer curtains. Cincinnati Global also provided an eclectic mix of sports memorabilia and sombreros to be displayed as art works. In addition, and during the construction phase, we were asked to provide assistance with furniture supply and move management. The new furniture piece included developing a specification with a budget, selecting finishes as well as managing the order process through to and including installation. The relocation of existing furniture, equipment and personal items was managed over a weekend, with the communications equipment requiring a temperature controlled environment to ensure continuity of data transfer.
