Visualisation
During the design phase, we often build a 3D model to inform the process. It makes the drawings come to life in a way that 2D plans and elevations may not, and once built we can also use it to ensure you have a full understanding of what is being recommended.
3D models facilitate easy sketch or semi-realistic views of the design for presentation purposes. We can apply finishes to communicate our design ideas and we can edit the model to show options for discussion.
Once the design has been further developed you may decide that you require a photorealistic depiction of the design, these are very realistic and can often be compared to installed photographs or videos.
Visualisation Options:
- Sketch Visuals give you a real sense of the interior space and colour schemes. We can quickly produce interior views of the space to help communicate the design. This type of visual will be created to support the concept phase and does not require the detailed design to be complete.
- Video walk throughs will allow you to travel through the proposed design. These are helpful in gaining an understanding of the space as a whole and are created easily using the model we have developed. The walk throughs can be either sketch or realistic, however we often find the sketch version sufficient to explain the design.
- Photorealistic Visuals give you a fully accurate view of the design proposal. Some of the Detail Design phase will need to have been completed for this type of visual to be created.
Photorealistic images can take quite a long time to produce and as such are a costly item, they will however perfectly replicate the proposed finishes.
